NOK 30 000. It is not a fee — it stays in the company and can be used for equipment, deposits or operating costs once the company is registered. Formation costs may be charged to the company if this is stated in the founding documents.
An ENK is faster and cheaper to start, but you are personally liable and the tax treatment of profit is different. An AS separates your private finances from the business, makes it possible to bring in partners and to plan salary against dividend. Above roughly NOK 500 000–700 000 in profit, the AS is usually the better answer — but it depends on your risk exposure and what you need to take out.
When VAT-liable turnover passes NOK 50 000 within a twelve-month period. Some activities are exempt or outside the scope entirely. We check your specific activity and register you in Altinn at the right time — registering too early or too late both cause problems.
Yes. You need a Norwegian national identity or D-number for the roles that require identification, and at least one person in the board with a European Economic Area connection under the current rules. We will tell you exactly which documents are needed for your situation before you start.
