One-page monthly report
Result, trend, deviations and the three things to act on. Delivered by the 10th working day.
The books tell you what happened. Analysis tells you what to do next: which customers pay for themselves, which projects do not, and how much cash you will actually have in March.
Every company already owns the data. It is sitting in the ledger, the invoice system and the payroll — but in a form that answers the tax office's questions rather than the owner's.
We build a short monthly reporting pack on top of your accounts: gross margin by service line or project, customer profitability, personnel cost as a share of revenue, working capital and a rolling 13-week cash forecast. One page you can read in five minutes, plus the detail underneath when you want it.
Result, trend, deviations and the three things to act on. Delivered by the 10th working day.
Your numbers, updated automatically — no more copying figures into a spreadsheet.
13 weeks ahead, updated monthly, so a tight month is a plan and not a shock.
A 45-minute call where we go through the trend and decide what changes.
A fixed sequence, the same for every client, so nothing depends on someone remembering it.
Price: Monthly reporting pack from NOK 2 400 per month as an add-on to a bookkeeping agreement. Dashboard set-up from NOK 12 000 one-off. Budget and forecasting projects are quoted individually.
What decisions do you actually make each month? The report is built backwards from those.
Chart of accounts, departments and project codes adjusted so the analysis is possible at all.
Report template and dashboard built and validated against the closed accounts.
Delivered every month, reviewed every quarter, adjusted as the business changes.
No. We build the reporting on the data your current system already produces. In some cases we adjust the chart of accounts or add department and project dimensions — that is a change inside the system, not a change of system.
Often more useful than for a large one. A small company feels a margin error immediately and has fewer buffers. The report is scaled to the size — for a small firm it is one page and a cash forecast, not a 30-page pack.
Yes. We take your budget as the baseline, phase it monthly and report actuals against it. If the budget turns out to be unrealistic after a few months, we say so and help you re-forecast rather than keep reporting against a number nobody believes.
We can prepare the pack for you to present, or attend the board meeting and present it ourselves. Many clients start with the first and move to the second once external investors or a bank are involved.
